Acura ZDX
What To Expect
The 2025 Acura ZDX will likely be a carryover of the all-new model introduced for the 2024 model year. Acura’s first production EV, the ZDX offers up to 325 miles of range and a maximum of 500 horsepower, along with the practicality and features of a midsize luxury SUV.
The ZDX follows Acura‘s current design language, with signature LED front lighting, smooth sides, and a floating roof design. In place of a conventional grille, the ZDX wears a textured panel with an illuminated surround. The interior seats five in two rows and can handle up to 60.8 cubic feet of cargo. All models come with an 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster, an 11.3-inch touchscreen, built-in Google apps, and a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
2025 Acura ZDX Engine & Specs
The base A-Spec trim will likely continue with a 342-horsepower electric motor driving the rear wheels and a 102.0-kWh battery pack. Buyers can add a second motor over the front wheels for all-wheel drive capability and a total of 459 hp. According to Acura, the singe-motor A-Spec can travel up to 325 miles on a full charge, and dual motor versions can go for 315 miles. The single-motor A-Spec can gain 81 miles of range in 10 minutes at a public charging station.
The line-topping Type S carries standard AWD and a dual-motor setup that produces 500 hp, making it the most powerful SUV in the brand’s history. The Type S also gets Brembo brakes, a sport-tuned adaptive air suspension, and 22-inch wheels. Range drops 288 miles on the Type S, the sequence of adding high-performance hardware.
2025 Acura ZDX Safety
We expect the ZDX will retain the current roster of safety and driver-assistance features. Every model comes with adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, driver attention monitoring, and front and rear automatic emergency braking. Buyers can opt for a hands-free highway driving system called AcuraWatch 360+.
2025 Acura ZDX Price
Without major changes in store for the ZDX, we expect only an incremental price increase. The ZDX’s price currently starts at $64,500 including destination and climbs to $73,500 for the Type S.
The 2025 ZDX will compete with premium electric SUVs such as the Cadillac Lyric, Audi Q4 e-tron, and Genesis GV60.
2025 Acura ZDX Release Date
