The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron is arriving as an all-new option in Audi’s all-electric lineup. The new Q6 e-tron slots in between the Q4 e-tron and Q8 e-tron, as the midsize option and rides on the automaker’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform. Here’s what we know about the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron.
The upcoming 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron features a sporty exterior design with slim headlights, a large oval-shaped faux grille, and angular elements on the front fascia. The side profile of the SUV features prominent body lines that help channel air to the back and widened fenders. The rear end of the Q6 e-tron has a sizeable rear spoiler, oval taillights that are connected by a horizontal bar, and a chunky rear bumper. Compared to the Q4 e-tron and Q8 e-tron, the Q6 e-tron has a far more aggressive exterior design.
In typical Audi fashion, the interior design of the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron has a modern, high-tech look. The midsize SUV is a tech powerhouse with numerous screens that span nearly the full width of the dash, minimal physical controls, and premium interior materials. The overall design of the Q6 e-tron is simple with few lines and straightforward elements, but the SUV looks like it belongs in the luxury class. While the Q6 e-tron is similar in size to the compact Q5, the electric SUV has a longer wheelbase, which should bring a more spacious cabin.
When it comes to tech features, the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron is available with impressive equipment. The SUV comes with an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch touchscreen that runs the brand’s latest interface, and an available 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen. The infotainment system utilizes Android Automotive OS, bringing apps like YouTube to the vehicle. A head-up display, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, and a navigation system with augmented reality are available.
2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Engine & Specs
The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron will come with dual electric motors and all-wheel drive as standard equipment. The dual-motor configuration brings up to 456 horsepower. A rear-wheel drive model with a single electric motor on the rear wheels is reportedly in the works. The high-performance SQ6 e-tron raises the SUV’s performance with dual electric motors that are tuned to make 510 hp. Audi claims the Q6 e-tron can get to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds.
The Q6 e-tron features an 800-volt architecture and a 94.4-kWh battery pack. Audi hasn’t released range figures for the SUV yet but claims the SUV can go from 10% to 80% charged in 21 minutes when plugged into a DC fast charger.
2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Safety
The Q6 e-tron features rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and a driver attention monitor as standard.
The SUV will also be available with Car-to-X communication and a new adaptive driving assistant plus a feature that can handle most driving tasks and uses data from other vehicles in the cloud to improve the SUV’s handling.
2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Price
Pricing for the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron hasn’t been announced yet. Because of its size, the Q6 e-tron is expected to split the Q4 e-tron and Q8 e-tron in terms of pricing. So, the Q6 e-tron could start at roughly $65,000.
Competitors in the all-electric segment include the Genesis Electrified GV70, Lexus RZ, Cadillac Lyriq, BMW iX, Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, Rivian R1S, and Tesla Model X.
2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Release Date
The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron is expected to go on sale before the end of the year. More information on the electric SUV should become available within the next few months.
