What’s New About Q-tron in 2025?

However, there are several visual changes to the BMW Z4. The manual M40i is the only Z4 with staggered wheels, 19-inch in the front and 20 inches in the rear. It comes equipped with black mirrors, grille, and logo trims, which are available in the ordinary variant. There are also distinctive paint and interior design options available. The manual package only includes two green options: San Remo Green and Frozen Deep Green (a matte color from the BMW Individual program). The same is true for a black and Cognac leather interior with black piping.

2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Design

The Audi Q6 e-tron exterior design is what will catch your eye right away. It borrows styling ideas from other recent electric SUV launches from Audi, such as the Q4 and Q8 e-tron models. A keen eye will spot a few new, distinctive design cues, such as taillights that can display icons such as a danger triangle.

The Q6 e-tron will be a 5-seat SUV. Although Audi has not disclosed official seating dimensions for the Q6 e-tron, we anticipate substantial seating capacity in both rows. After all, one of the advantages of Audi’s new all-electric platform is the increased interior room.

2025 Audi Q6 e-Tron Interior

Regarding the Q6 e-tron’s interior design philosophy, we have certain misgivings. On the center stack, they aren’t many actual buttons, although viewers can see a volume knob. It looks like the steering wheel has capacitive touch control panels, just like the Volkswagen ID.4 and Q4 e-tron. It can be challenging to get the hang of swiping and hitting buttons at the same time on the current Q6 wheel controls, so we’re hoping for improvements.

2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Engine

We drove a dual-motor prototype Q6 e-tron. That all-wheel-drive version produces 375 horsepower and Audi claims it can accelerate to 62 mph in less than six seconds. A Boost mode temporarily increases the output to 395 horsepower. The performance-minded SQ6 ups the ante with 482 horsepower, while Boost mode unleashes another 509 horsepower. Torque data has yet to be published. During our test drive in the nearly-ready model, we found the Q6 to be composed and controlled, with its air suspension softly coating the 21-inch wheels into the road surface. When we have the opportunity to drive and test a more refined and final production vehicle, we will make sure to update this space.

Range, Charging, and Battery Life

Audi’s PPE platform features an 800-volt design, resulting in some extremely powerful electrics. An estimated 93.0 kWh battery has a peak charging rate of 270 kW, which Audi claims can charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes. While the furthest-driving Q6 e-tron is predicted to be capable of 372 miles on the European WLTP test cycle, roughly adapted for EPA standards, that figure is likely to be closer to 315 miles between charges. The EPA has yet to confirm a rating, but we will update this area once they do, as well as once we test the Q6 e-tron on our 75-mph real-world range test.
