Buick Enclave Preview
What To Expect
The 2025 Buick Enclave is set for a redesign. According to several sources the third generation of the large SUV has many changes in store both inside and out. However, we don’t have many details since all the spy shots captured so far show the Enclave in full camo.
From what we can see, the shape of the newly redesigned Enclave has changed, showing a more prominent grille and fascia judging by the size of the wrap it’s wearing. According to Motor1, the front end has Wildcat-inspired design cues with its long hood, slim daytime running lights, and a strong squared-off face. We think the design and styling will be similar to that of other recent Buick releases. Rear elements aren’t easy to spot under the full-body camouflage, but we do see a small spoiler and elements of what seem to be redesigned taillights.
We haven’t seen any photos of the interior of the redesigned 2025 Buick Enclave, but according to Motor1, there’s a curved full-width display that runs the full length of the dash. If this is true in the production model, the new Enclave will be showing off a dash that’s inspired by the Buick Electra E5, an EV model slated for a 2024 debut in China that won’t initially be available in the U.S.
With a redesign, we expect a sleek new look inside the Enclave, though details are lacking right now. The current Enclave features an eight-inch touchscreen, a 4.2-inch driver information center, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth, satellite radio, an HD Radio, six audio speakers, six USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a wireless charging pad as standard. We expect these features, with the exception of the screens, to remain standard for the 2025 model.
2025 Buick Enclave Engine & Specs
We’re not sure what to expect under the hood for the 2025 Enclave. The current model carries a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. This is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, though you can upgrade to all-wheel drive as an option. We’re expecting to see an engine with a bit more power and fuel efficiency, perhaps with a mild hybrid addition to help with that.
When it comes to space, we don’t think that the interior specs of the midsized SUV will change much from the current 2024 model. The current model provides seating for seven with plenty of cargo space. The vehicle measures 204.8 inches long, 78.8 inches wide, and 69.9 inches tall. With all rows in place the back can hold just 23.6 cubic feet of gear, but dropping all rows opens up 97.4 cubes.
2025 Buick Enclave Safety
We expect the 2025 Buick Enclave to have the latest in safety technology, and for even base models to come well-equipped. The current model on sale features automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, parking sensors, and a rear seat alert.
To get even more features you have to upgrade to the Technology package, or the Adaptive Cruise package, which is only offered on higher trims. The 2024 Enclave earned a five-star rating from the NHTSA. We expect the same features on the 2025 model but would like to see more optional features become standard.
2025 Buick Enclave Price
With a total redesign, the Buick Enclave should carry a higher price tag than the current model on sale which starts with an MSRP of $45,295 with destination, but there’s been no official word from Buick on pricing.
2025 Buick Enclave Release Date
We don’t have an exact date that the 2025 Enclave is expected to go on sale, but based on previous release schedules we expect the Enclave to drop by next summer. In Buick’s most recent press release, they only promised that the model would be out later this year.
he Buick Enclave will compete against similar models such as the Kia Telluride, Hyundai Palisade, Toyota Highlander, Acura MDX, and Subaru Ascent.
