The 2025 Cadillac CT5 is a luxurious midsize automobile. It is likely to come with innovative and luxury interior design and features. The Cadillac reports that sales of its largest sedan have increased by 35.6% in the United States. The firm is updating its flagship sedan to appeal to younger shoppers, as it faces competition from the BMW 3 Series and other major brands. Perhaps this is why the interior was the main emphasis of the redesign, with a gigantic 33-inch digital display replacing the previous model’s very simple entertainment system.
When Is The 2025 Cadillac CT5 Coming Out?
Since production of the new sedan is expected to begin in Spring 2024, a release date for the Cadillac CT5 will likely follow shortly after; the automaker hopes to see it in showrooms “early in 2024”. The CT5 will be constructed at General Motors Lansing Grand River Assembly Plant in Michigan.
2025 Cadillac CT5 Design
Cadillac focuses its outward changes on the CT5’s front-end design, giving it a more muscular aspect. The change is intended to highlight the car’s elegant fastback shape. The CT5 has a lower and wider front grille, and Cadillac has updated its characteristic vertical lighting. In addition, the CT5’s stacked LED headlights gain a fresh design.
2025 Cadillac CT5 Interior
When Cadillac designers designed the CT5, they addressed the most annoying faults of the previous CTS interior. The new sports sedan’s controls are substantially more simple and user-friendly. Cadillac must now solve the issues with the CT5’s interior. Even with the lower price compared to European competitors, the Cadillac’s interior layout and building components don’t work well together—handsome open-pore wood next to cheap black plastic, for example—and don’t support the CT5’s image as a luxury offering.

The rear seat is more capacious than the previous CTS model, with approximately a centimeter greater legroom over the BMW 3-series and Alfa Romeo Giulia. The Cadillac’s trunk accommodates five of our carry-on luggage under the back seats, but an Alfa loses two cubic meters while the BMW gains six.

As a result, two of the CT5’s main competitors, the BMW 330i and an Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti, finished the same test in 5.1 and 4.6 seconds, respectively. The regular CT5 isn’t as sporty and more gently sprung than those two competitors in terms of ride and handling. This isn’t the case for the Model V model, whose muscular control and ride-and-handling balances are on par with or even better than those of the Bimmer and Alfa.
