What To Expect
Chevrolet is busy updating its lineup of SUVs and the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox is next to arrive as the latest model that gets a full redesign. The fourth-gen Equinox arrives with an updated engine, more tech features, and a new design. Here’s what we know about the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox.
The exterior design of the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox is far more rugged than the outgoing model. The design of the new Equinox varies based on the trim level, though all trims share rugged body cladding, a square grille that’s split by the Chevy bowtie separates the grille, and there’s a black section on the C-pillar that connects the rear windows. The Equinox also features thin LED headlights, the taillights have an R-shaped design, and the D-pillar is blacked out. The available Activ trim has a slightly more rugged design, while the RS has slight exterior updates that make it look more athletic.
On the inside, the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox adopts a similar design to other Chevrolet SUVs with a large central screen that’s slightly angled toward the driver, a slim row of physical controls, and circular air vents. The interior design of the 2025 Equinox is far more modern than the outgoing Equinox. A column-mounted shifter frees up extra space in the center console for storage. The Activ trim gets a two-tone interior design with vinyl and microfiber upholstery, while the RS trim has red interior touches.
The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox takes a large step up with a standard 11-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11.3-inch infotainment display. A full list of features for the 2025 Equinox isn’t available, but the SUV is expected to come with Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a wireless charging pad, navigation, and six audio speakers.
