2025 Fisker Pear  What to Expect

All-electric startup Fisker is looking to make a serious splash in the EV segment with the Pear, a new compact SUV that’s due to come out following the larger Fisker Ocean. Details on the upcoming 2025 Fisker Pear are sparse, and now the automaker has paused production on the electric SUV.

From what we know, on the outside, the Fisker Pear will have a similar design to the automaker’s larger Ocean SUV. The SUV mixes a modern design with rugged touches for a unique look. The front end of the EV features razor-thin daytime running lights, a grille-less front end, and a large air vent that dominates the front fascia.

While the Pear is roughly 15 feet long, it looks like it has a wide, low stance with a black roof and wide fenders. The rear end of the Pear has unique lighting with two horizontal elements that are connected by C-shaped lights and a robust rear bumper that takes up a lot of space on the SUV’s rear end.

While the 2025 Fisker Pear will be classified as a compact SUV, it will offer seating for up to six people with an available front bench seat. In addition to having unique seating, the Pear has a distinctive dashboard design. The dash features a curved, but simple look with a large trim piece jutting out of the dash. Four air vents that span the full width of the SUV sit above the pronounced trim piece.

A small central screen is positioned in the middle of the trim piece that extends from the dash and is relatively close to the flat-bottom steering wheel. Based on the images we’ve seen, it looks like Fisker will offer the Pear with bright interior colors and eco-friendly materials. Fisker claims the Pear will come with flat-folding seats, a “drawer-like front boot,” and a Houdini trunk where an inner lower panel on the liftgate and upper glass drop into the body of the SUV to make loading cargo into the back easier.

Fisker hasn’t confirmed tech features for the 2025 Pear yet. All we know is that the electric SUV will have an optional 17.1-inch rotating screen that can be used when the SUV’s seats are in Lounge Mode. As a modern EV, we expect the SUV to come with an advanced infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, navigation, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a premium audio system, and multiple USB ports. Fisker claims that the Pear will come with a High-Performance Computer called the Fisker Blade to offer owners a cyber-secure, energy-efficient, and connected tech experience.

2025 Fisker Pear Engine & Specs

The Fisker Pear will be available with two battery options and both rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive versions. Fisker hasn’t confirmed exact specifications yet, but the electric SUV will have an estimated range of 180 miles with the small battery pack and up to 320 miles with the larger battery pack. The base Pear will be able to get to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds. A high-performance Fisker Pear Extreme will also be available.

2025 Fisker Pear Safety

Information on the 2025 Pear’s safety features isn’t available yet. We expect the electric SUV to be available with an extensive suite of advanced safety features.

2025 Fisker Pear Price

Fisker claims that the Pear will start at $29,900 before incentives, though pricing could change before the SUV goes on sale.

With the Fisker Pear’s expected starting price, the EV will compete against options like the Chevrolet Bolt EUVKia Niro EVHyundai Kona ElectricNissan Leaf, and Mini Cooper SE.

2025 Fisker Pear Release Date

Deliveries of the 2025 Fisker Pear were originally set to begin in July 2025, but production of the vehicle has been halted while Fisker seeks to gain backing from an unnamed automaker. We’re not sure when the Pear will arrive, but we now expect it closer to the end of the 2025 year.

According to CarBuzz, Fisker CEO Henrik Fisker recently spoke to investors and journalists saying, “Fisker is in negotiations with a large automaker for a potential transaction which could include an investment in Fisker, joint development of one or more electric vehicle platforms, and North America manufacturing.”

We will keep you posted on all the details as they become available.
