INFINITI QX80

Redesign Info

INFINITI is going through a brand makeover, and at the center of it all will be the new 2025 INFINITI QX80. As one of the brand’s more popular vehicles, the redesigned SUV is getting luxurious upgrades to solidify itself as the flagship vehicle for the new INFINITI era. While this brand makeover will be unveiled in full closer to the end of the year, we know INFINITI is updating to a new sophisticated image including new looks for dealerships, new design languages for the vehicles, and new plans for electrification.

There will be a few things that will be new for the QX80. For example, INFINITI is planning on debuting a near-production concept of the QX80 Monograph at some point this year, which will showcase the kind of design changes that the brand is looking to make. We don’t know much about what these changes will look like yet, but they will include an even larger profile for the SUV, and more premium performance specs to make it a strong contender in the luxury SUV segment and set the QX80 apart from vehicles like the Nissan Armada.

The current QX80 comes with a 5.6-liter V8 engine that gives 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. It isn’t entirely clear whether this powertrain will carry over into the new model, though it’s probable that it will.

Pricing & Release Date

The 2025 QX80 is likely going to be arriving sometime in late 2024. With all that INFINITI is planning on for the new QX80, it’s very likely to cost more than the current model’s MSRP of $73,645, though we don’t have an exact number yet.

INFINITI plans to unveil the 2024 QX50 redesign on March 20, 2024. It will also be on display at the 2024 New York International Auto Show.

As a luxury SUV, the new QX80 will compete against vehicles like the Lincoln NavigatorBMW X7Porsche CayenneAudi Q8, and Cadillac Escalade.

Check back for updates as they become available.
