Lexus RX PreviewWhat To Expect
Lexus introduced the current RX for the 2023 model year. With the midsize SUV set to enter its third model year on sale, the 2025 Lexus RX is set to arrive as a carryover model without any major changes. Here’s what we expect to see from the upcoming 2025 RX.
As a carryover model, the 2025 Lexus RX should have the same exterior design as the current SUV that’s on sale. The current RX features a sporty exterior design with sharp headlights, a large grille, and a stubby nose. Along the side, a prominent body line that starts at the back of the front fender and connects the rear taillight stands out as a distinctive element. The rear end of the RX has wraparound taillights that are connected by a horizontal bar, a rounded rear bumper, and a small rear spoiler.
The 2025 Lexus RX is expected to have the same interior design as the current model that’s on sale. The midsize SUV has seating for up to five people across two rows of seats. The sweeping dashboard lines up with the door panels for a seamless design while the large center screen is integrated into the same trim piece as the instrument cluster. The RX has two large dials and touch-capacitive controls, while the SUV has a stubby shift knob.
Standard tech features with the current Lexus RX include a 9.8-inch touchscreen, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hot spot, 12 audio speakers, Bluetooth, six USB ports, satellite radio, and an HD Radio. Available features include a 14-inch touchscreen, a wireless charging pad, navigation, and a 21-speaker audio system. These features should continue to be available with the 2025 Lexus RX.
