What To Expect
The 2025 Volkswagen Jetta arrives for the new model year with a refresh. The compact sedan benefits from a slightly updated exterior design, a revised interior design, and new tech features. Here’s what shoppers need to know about the upcoming 2025 Volkswagen Jetta.
The 2025 Volkswagen Jetta features an updated exterior design compared to the current model that’s on sale. The Jetta has a slimmer and more aggressive front end with sharper headlights, a slimmer grille that incorporates a horizontal light bar on higher trims, and a redesigned front air vent. At the back, the Jetta has revised taillights that are connected by a horizontal bar and a new trunk lid. Volkswagen has also introduced a few new paint schemes and wheel designs.
Volkswagen has revised the Jetta’s interior design for 2025. The dashboard design has been updated with a new air vent design that splits the dash into two sections in front of the passenger, a floating central display that’s positioned in front of the dash, and HVAC controls that utilize touch-capacitive buttons. The changes give the 2025 Jetta a more modern look than the current model.
On the tech front, the 2025 Volkswagen Jetta now comes with a standard eight-inch touchscreen across the entire lineup. The eight-inch display replaces the old 6.5-inch unit. The Jetta SE also comes with more standard tech features than before. The trim gains wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, satellite radio, and a wireless charging pad. An eight-inch digital instrument cluster is standard, while higher trims come with a 10.3-inch display.
2025 Volkswagen Jetta Engine & Specs
The 2025 Volkswagen Jetta will continue to come with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s rated at 158 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. Volkswagen has dropped the six-speed manual transmission and is reserving that for the sporty GLI trim. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard.
2025 Volkswagen Jetta Safety
All 2025 Volkswagen Jettas come with Volkswagen’s IQ.Drive system. Volkswagen hasn’t confirmed all of the Jetta’s features yet, but the sedan comes with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, a semi-automated driving assist feature, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, and emergency assist.
2025 Volkswagen Jetta Price
Volkswagen has not confirmed pricing for the 2025 Jetta yet. We expect the refresh to increase the sedan’s price tag compared to the current model on sale. The current Jetta price ranges from $22,660 to $30,050.
