What To Expect
For 2025, Toyota introduced a fully redesigned Camry. The full redesign saw the Camry become exclusively available with a hybrid engine, gain an updated exterior design, benefit from a revised interior, and get new tech features. With the 2025 Camry arriving as a fully redesigned model, the upcoming 2026 Toyota Camry is expected to be a carryover model.
The exterior design of the 2026 Toyota Camry Hybrid isn’t expected to change much compared to the current model that’s on sale. The current Camry features a striking exterior design with C-shaped daytime running lights, angular headlights, a slim grille, and a wide front air intake. At the back, the 2026 Camry Hybrid features C-shaped taillights, a small built-in spoiler, and a sweeping design element that surrounds the rear bumper.
We don’t expect Toyota to update the interior design of the 2026 Camry for the new model year. The Camry Hybrid has a stylish interior design with a split dashboard design that separates the passenger and driver sides of the dash with a flowing portion that extends out of the center console. The air vents and central touchscreen are integrated into the same trim piece, while the dashboard has a slim row of physical controls. Passengers will find that the Camry Hybrid has two rows of roomy seating with higher trims coming with more premium touches.
On the tech front, the 2026 Toyota Camry should come with an eight-inch touchscreen and a seven-inch digital instrument cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, as is a wireless charging pad. Higher trim levels come with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Other available features include a JBL audio system, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and navigation.
2026 Toyota Camry Engine & Specs
With the 2025 Toyota Camry being a hybrid-only model, the 2026 Camry Hybrid should be the only Camry available. Power should come from a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with two electric motors for a combined output of 225 horsepower. All-wheel-drive models have an additional electric motor that raises output to 232 hp. A continuously variable automatic transmission is standard.
2026 Toyota Camry Safety
Every 2026 Toyota Camry Hybrid should come with an extensive list of safety features. The midsize sedan currently comes standard with blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit alert, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, automatic high-beam assist, and proactive driving assist.
2026 Toyota Camry Price
Pricing for the 2026 Toyota Camry has not been announced yet. The current 2025 Camry Hybrid ranges from $29,495 to $35,695. Pricing should remain close to the current model.
Competitors in the segment include the Honda Accord Hybrid, Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, Nissan Altima, and Kia K5.
2026 Toyota Camry Release Date
Toyota came out with the 2025 Camry Hybrid in spring 2024. Therefore, we expect the 2026 Toyota Camry to arrive on sale in spring 2025. More information on the midsize sedan should become available within the next year.
Please check back for updates as they become available.
