What To Expect
The 2025 GMC Acadia will likely be a carryover of the all-new design unveiled for the 2024 model year. GMC may tweak equipment bundles, but no significant changes are expected for the three-row crossover. The 2025 Acadia will retain the noteworthy gains in technology, power, and interior room made by the current model.
The Acadia seats up to eight and offers an estimated 97 cubic feet of total cargo space. The interior features a 15-inch vertical touchscreen that can display up to nine camera angles, and the infotainment system provides access to a suite of Google apps, including navigation. Standard amenities include a power driver seat, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.
2025 GMC Acadia Engine & Specs
We’re certain the Acadia will carry the all-new powertrain introduced for 2024. The 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine develops 328 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels. All-wheel drive is standard on the rugged XRT model and available on all other trims. The XRT also gets hill descent control and a terrain selector.
When equipped with the optional towing package, the Acadia can pull up to 5,000 pounds. EPA efficiency ratings are still pending.
2025 GMC Acadia Safety
We expect no changes to the standard roster of driver assistance features, which currently includes adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, blind-spot steering assist, and surround-view cameras. Buyers can add the latest version of GM’s SuperCruise semi-autonomous driving system to the Acadia.
Independent safety ratings will likely be available once the 2025 Acadia hits dealers.
2025 GMC Acadia Price
We expect the customary annual increase in the Acadia’s price. The 2024 Acadia starts at $42,600 excluding destination and runs to $54,300 for the luxurious Denali. All-wheel drive adds $2,000 to these figures.
2025 GMC Acadia Release Date
Based on the current production schedule, the 2025 GMC Acadia will probably arrive at dealers in late 2024. We will provide more details on the upcoming Acadia closer to the release date.
