What To Expect
Lexus introduced a fully redesigned NX for the 2022 model year. With the compact SUV set to arrive on sale for its fourth model year, the 2025 Lexus NX arrives as a carryover model without any major change. Here’s what we expect to see from the 2025 Lexus NX.
As a carryover model, the 2025 Lexus NX’s exterior design should remain the same as the current model that’s on sale. The current NX features a sporty exterior design with a large spindle grille, angular headlights, and an aggressive front fascia. The SUV’s rounded roofline and prominent body lines give the NX’s side profile a sporty touch. At the back, the NX has triangular taillights that are connected by a slim horizontal bar, a simple liftgate design, and a small rear spoiler.
The current Lexus NX has a sporty interior design that remains unchanged for 2025, save for the addition of a new Macadamia color option for the Luxury trim. The NX features a simple dashboard with a large central touchscreen that’s integrated into a single trim piece with the digital instrument cluster. Small triangular air vents are positioned directly under the large touchscreen, while a curvy trim piece from the center console splits the two front seats. Lexus fits the NX with premium materials, while build quality is excellent.
On the tech front, the 2025 Lexus NX continues to come with a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, a 9.8-inch touchscreen, a 10-speaker audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, voice recognition, and Bluetooth. Available features include a 14-inch touchscreen and a 17-speaker audio system. For 2025, Lexus fitted two USB-C connections to the center console.
2025 Lexus NX Engine & Specs
Lexus offers the current NX with a wide range of powertrains, which remain unchanged for 2025. The base NX 250 comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 203 horsepower. The available NX 350 steps things up with a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 275 hp.
The next two models are hybrids, which include the NX 350h and NX 450h+. The NX 350h comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with an electric motor for a total of 240 hp. The available NX 450h+ is a PHEV that features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors. Combined output is rated at 304 hp.
2025 Lexus NX Safety
Standard safety features with the current Lexus NX include pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, intersection assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam assist, and traffic-sign recognition. These features continue to be standard, while parking assist is added to the standard equipment roster for 2025.
Available safety features include lane change assist, front cross-traffic alert, a surround-view parking camera, and parking sensors.
2025 Lexus NX Price
2025 NX pricing starts at $41,765, which is a $1,160 increase over the 2024 model. That’s on the steeper end considering there weren’t any major updates. Hybrid models are up around $1,400, depending on trim. The biggest increases for 2025 are the PHEVs. The NX 450h+ F SPORT is up $2,225, while the Luxury trim is up a whopping $2,385. 2025 Lexus NX Release Date
Lexus has not released any information on when the 2025 Lexus NX will go on sale. We could see the SUV as early as Spring 2024. More information on the compact SUV should become available within the next few months.
