Nissan Canada has unveiled the refreshed 2025 Nissan Rogue, which will be the first Nissan vehicle to come with Google Built-In. The system will include Google Play, Maps, and Assistant, and be included on the SL and Platinum trims. The new Rogue also sheds one of its engines. In the 2023 Rogue, the entry-level S trim uses a 2.5L four-cylinder engine, making 181 horsepower. All other trims currently use a turbocharged 1.5L three-cylinder engine, making 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque, that will now power all of the 2024 Rogue trims. It’s mated to an automatic continuously-variable transmission (CVT). All-wheel drive (AWD) will be standard on all trims.
2025 Nissan Rogue Redesign
The new Rogue will also be Nissan’s first with USB Type-C ports, standard in front and with two charge-only ports for rear-seat passengers on the SV trim and up. Those trims will also include a three-year trial to NissanConnect, up from the previous six-month trial, a mobile app that includes remote lock and unlock, engine start, vehicle report, and, new to the Nissan app, the ability to set the climate control on remote starts, and to create profiles for other drivers to access the app functions. Then Nissan added keyless entry, extra USB ports for the back seats, dual-zone temperature control, NissanConnect services, and additional speakers for the sound system. The Safety Shield 360 now includes adaptive speed control and lane keep assist. The 2025 Nissan Rogue Midnight Edition blacks out features to make the SUV appear more appealing.

2025 Nissan Rogue Engine
As with the pre-facelifted Qashqai, the entire line-up will be partially electrified. On the milder end of the hybrid spectrum, a 1.3-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol (gasoline) engine develops 157 hp (117 kW) and 199 lb-ft (270 Nm) of torque, with power going to the front wheels (AWD is optional) via a CVT transmission.

For those wanting electrons to do all the propulsion, there will be an e-Power variant that uses a 1.5-litre variable-compression petrol engine making 156 horsepower (115 kW). This unit has no physical connection to the wheels; instead, it uses the engine as a generator to feed the battery, which powers an 188 hp (140 kW) electric motor to do all the driving.
2025 Nissan Rogue MPG
The 2025 Nissan Rogue three-cylinder turbocharged engine is rated for up to 30 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the interstate. If all-wheel drive is installed, the estimated fuel economy drops to 28 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the interstate. Adding the top-of-the-line Platinum trim further lowers the highway figure to 34 mpg. Our all-wheel-drive Platinum test car managed a dismal 31 mpg on our 75 mph interstate fuel-economy route.
2025 Nissan Rogue Price & Trims
We anticipate a rise in pricing, with starting prices in the UK expected to be around £30,000 (approximately $38,000 at current exchange rates) for the mild hybrid model. The fully loaded e-Power variant could potentially reach up to £43,000 ($54,400).
