The subcompact SUV will continue to feature distinctive exterior styling with swept-back headlights, a large grille, rugged body cladding, and a slim front air intake. The rear end of the SUV features triangular taillights that are connected by a horizontal bar, a chunky rear bumper, and a small rear spoiler.
The interior design of the 2025 Kia Seltos won’t change for the new model year. The SUV will continue to have a tiered dashboard design, physical controls for the HVAC system, and two available screens that are integrated into a single panel. As one of the larger subcompact SUVs in the class, the Seltos has a roomy cabin with ample passenger space in both rows.
The only tech change that Kia has made to the Seltos for the 2025 model year is to make a 4.25-inch TFT cluster standard on the base S trim. Beyond this change, the 2025 Kia Seltos will continue to come with the same tech features as the current SUV that’s on sale. The SUV will continue to come with an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and four USB ports. Higher trim levels come with a 10.3-inch touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster.
2025 Kia Seltos Engine & Specs
Kia will continue to offer the 2025 Seltos with two different engines. The base powertrain consists of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 146 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard and front-wheel drive is available.
Higher trim levels come with a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. It’s rated at 195 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. The turbo engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
2025 Kia Seltos Safety
Standard safety features on the 2025 Kia Seltos will include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, automatic high-beam assist, lane keeping assist, and lane departure warning. Available safety features include blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and lane-centering assist.

Official pricing for the 2025 Kia Seltos will start at $24,590. This represents a price increase of $100. The range-topping SX trim has gone up by $1,000 for 2025.
