The refresh for the 2026 Genesis GV70 will see the compact SUV gain an updated exterior design. Exterior changes won’t be dramatic, but pictures of the 2026 GV70 that we’ve seen reveal that the SUV will get a new grille design, updated headlights, a revised lower bumper, and more pronounced air intakes. New wheel designs and updated taillights will round out the changes for the 2026 GV70.
The 2026 Genesis GV70 will arrive with a heavily updated interior design for the upcoming model year. SUV’s dashboard will be redesigned to accommodate a single display instead of the current SUV, which has two separate displays and a traditional instrument cluster. The GV70’s climate controls have been updated and are now controlled via a touch panel on the center console. The steering wheel has been slightly updated and features Genesis’ new logo.
At the moment, we know that the refreshed 2026 Genesis GV70 will come with a 27-inch OLED display. The single panel houses the digital instrument cluster and the central touchscreen. We expect the SUV to be available with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a wireless charging pad.
2026 Genesis GV70 Engine & Specs
Genesis has not shared any details on the 2026 Genesis GV70’s powertrains yet. We don’t expect to see any major changes to the current GV70’s engines, though small updates that could increase performance or fuel economy are possible.
The GV70 currently comes with a standard turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 300 horsepower. A twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine that’s rated at 375 hp is available. All GV70s come with all-wheel drive. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard.
2026 Genesis GV70 Safety
We don’t know what kind of safety features the 2026 Genesis GV70 will come with. The current SUV comes standard with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors.
2026 Genesis GV70 Price
Official pricing for the 2026 Genesis GV70 hasn’t been announced yet. A refresh will see the SUV cost more than the current GV70, which ranges from $47,050 to $69,250.
Competitors in the compact segment include the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Porsche Macan, Lexus NX, Volvo XC60, and Audi Q5.
2026 Genesis GV70 Release Date
As a 2026 model, the refreshed Genesis GV70 could go on sale before the end of 2025 or in early 2026. More information on the compact SUV should become available within the next year.
