2025 Ford Mustang What To Expect

The all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E arrived for the 2024 model year with some changes that continue to keep it fresh. For the 2025 model year, we expect the Ford Mustang Mach-E to be a carryover model without any major changes. A redesign is possible for the 2027 model year.

The current design of the Ford Mustang Mach-E isn’t expected to change for the 2025 model year. The all-electric Mach-E has a sporty exterior design with slim headlights, an oval grille, and angular trim on the front fascia. Unlike other Ford products, the Mach-E doesn’t have a Ford logo, but prominently features the automaker’s running horse emblem. The rear end of the Mach-E features a heavily raked roofline, a large rear spoiler, split taillights, and deep cutouts in the rear fascia.

We don’t expect the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E to get any interior updates for the new model year. The current Mach-E has a premium design with a tiered dashboard, a large central screen, and minimal physical controls. Ford fits the Mach-E with eco-friendly materials that look upscale. The Mach-E has some well-thought-out features like front trunk with a drain hole and a flip-up armrest for small items to be stored between the two front seats.

Standard tech features on the current Ford Mustang Mach-E include a 15.5-inch touchscreen, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a wireless charging pad, six audio speakers, four USB ports, and satellite radio. These features should continue to be standard for the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E.

2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Engine & Specs

Ford offers the current Mustang Mach-E with six different powertrains. These should continue to be available for 2025.

The base Mach-E comes with a 266-horsepower single electric motor and a standard 72-kWh battery pack. The 72-kWh pack is available in Mach-E models with dual electric motors with a combined output of 266 hp. The Mach-E is available with a single electric motor and an Extended Range 91-kWh battery pack. Power is rated at 290 hp. The Mach-E can also be fitted with dual electric motors and the Extended Range battery pack that raises power to 346 hp.

High-performance Mach-E models are housed under the GT nameplate. The GT comes with dual electric motors and the Extended Range battery pack. It has 480 hp, while the GT Performance Edition has a boost in torque.

Range for the Mach-E ranges between 225 to 250 miles for the 72-kWh battery pack and between 290 to 310 miles with the 91-kWh battery.

2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Safety

The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E should continue to come with the same advanced safety features as the current model on sale. The Mach-E comes with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam assist, rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind spot monitoring.

2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Price

Pricing for the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E isn’t available yet. The current Mach-E’s prices range from $45,390 to $65,390. Ford has been cutting pricing for its EVs recently, so we could see pricing for the 2025 Mach-E decrease.

Competitors in the all-electric SUV segment include the Kia EV6Volkswagen ID.4Hyundai IONIQ 5Nissan AriyaToyota bZ4X, and Subaru Solterra.

2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Release Date

Ford normally introduces new Mach-E model years in the fall. The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E has an estimated arrival of fall 2024. More information on the electric SUV should become available within the next few months.
