The 2025 Kia EV9 SUV Electric, which seems to be the same size as the present three-row gas-only Telluride, shares a platform with the future Hyundai Ioniq 7. While specifics are yet unknown, we believe the EV9 will be available with rear- or all-wheel drive depending on trim level. Kia hasn’t revealed any details on the EV9’s battery or motors, but to compete, they’ll need to deliver something with 220 to 300 miles of range on a single charge and towing capabilities of up to 4500 pounds. At the very least, we have this unique concept to fawn over as we wait for Kia to provide more information on the mid-size sedan.
2025 Kia EV9 Interior
The 2025 Kia EV9 will seat at least six people across three rows of seats on the inside. To provide a more sustainable interior, the concept automobile employs recycled materials such as salvaged fishing nets and other waste plastics. A wide panoramic sunroof and a 27.0-inch infotainment touchscreen are also included in the design.

2025 Kia EV9 Power and Performance
Official horsepower and performance figures are still being kept under wraps at Kia HQ, but rumors point to a straightforward offering. Lower EV9 versions with single motors should offer around 200 horsepower with rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive will quadruple the motors, placing an extra unit up front, perhaps increasing the horsepower output to 400. Because it is based on the gas-only Telluride, the EV9 is expected to prioritize range and hauling above acceleration performance.

Battery Life, Range, and Charging
Kia claims the Kia EV9 has a 300-mile driving range and will be able to charge at 350-kilowatt fast charging stations. We don’t know what size battery pack will be standard or if a larger one will be available as an option, but we should find out closer to the SUV’s release date.
2025 Kia EV9 Price and Trims
The price of the Kia EV 9 2025 has not yet been confirmed; they have not released any information about this electric SUV. It is a recently launched SUV, and last year’s trim pricing ranged from $56,000 to $75,000. Therefore, if they launched a new model, the price of this SUV would be slightly more than the price of the Kia EV 9 from the previous year. There are five trim levels in this SUV; the estimated prices for each are listed in the table below.
