2025 Audi Q9 Engine
Given the platform and general appearance, we believe there is no other option but to remain with the known powertrain options. So, base models would have a 3.0 turbo V6 engine that would receive a small boost and produce more than 335 horsepower. That’s the same engine that powers the Q7, Q8, and SQ9. The optional V8 would provide small power boosts, and the SQ9 would produce more than 500 horsepower. To remain profitable, the RS Q9 would need to generate over 600 units. Hybrid variants are also possible, and Audi already has a few options that would be ideal for this large SUV. They’re plug-in hybrids with 3.0 V6 engines that produce 376 and 450 horsepower, respectively.
