The 2025 Lotus Emeya is Sports car specialist Lotus is branching out to the luxury electric-sedan segment with an upcoming four-door model called Emeya. Expected to challenge other sporty EV sedans, such as the Audi e-tron GT and the Porsche Taycan, the Emeya is said to offer an electric powertrain with enough punch to hit 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds. The new Emeya fits into that picture as the company’s first all-electric four-door grand tourer.
The Evija hypercar and Eletre SUV showed the world that Lotus could do all-electrics. That continues with the Emeya four-door GT, a sleek sedan with more than a passing resemblance to the Eletre. Emeya competitors include the Tesla Model S and Audi E-Tron GT.

Like its exterior design, the Emeya’s interior looks very similar to the Eletre SUV’s, but its four-door fastback shape will likely be less spacious. 2025 Lotus Emeya Engine
Like it does with the Eletre, Lotus is expected to offer one dual-motor AWD configuration with two levels of output for the Emeya. If that’s true, lower trim levels should develop 603 hp and 524 lb-ft of torque and the top model should make 905 hp and 727 lb-ft of torque. Launches to 60 mph are estimated to take as little as 2.5 seconds, making the Lotus grand tourer as quick as the Porsche Taycan Turbo S.

Although official numbers have yet to be released, look for the Emeya’s 102 kWh battery to provide more range than the Taycan Turbo S’s 222 miles. The Lotus EV 800-volt battery architecture enables charging from 10 to 80 percent in 15 minutes when the car is hooked up to a 350 kW fast charger, says the brand.

Actual statistics and range are still unknown, however Lotus claims we may expect roughly the same range as the Eletre. The most powerful version of the vehicle has a range of 304 miles on a single charge, while the less powerful models can travel up to 373 miles.
