2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Review: Specs and Price

Posted on

The all-electric 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is inching closer to production and today, and we’re treated to our first look at its cabin design and features. The aesthetics clearly aim to compete with SUVs from other luxury-centric brands. The photos below even unveil some of the unique details that set the Wagoneer S apart from its other Jeep family members.

2025 Jeep Wagoneer S

For those out of the loop, the Wagoneer S is the brand’s first dedicated global electric vehicle and it’s poised to make its market debut later this year. While there will be several variants available, at the top end, the flagship model will make up to 600 hp (447 kW) and be capable of rocketing from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds. Consider this a major shot over the bough of Range Rover, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz.

2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Design

As seen in the photographs above, the electric Wagoneer should resemble the original design from 2022. The new exterior shots also appear to reveal an entirely distinct set of wheels than in the designs, featuring a predominantly five-spoke layout with slimmer spokes behind it. The front doors also include “Wagoneer” insignia and an American flag design, as do other Jeeps now in production.

The latest photographs include a close-up of the Wagoneer S’s integrated rear spoilers. The more visible upper spoiler continues to extend from the roofline, as seen in previous photographs. The full-width taillights resemble previous versions, but the “Jeep” writing above the light bar replaces the “Wagoneer” that we’ve seen.

2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Interior

Inside, you’ll find a layout not dissimilar to the regular Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, with no less than three displays laid out across the dashboard. These include a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment touchscreen and another touchscreen for the front passenger.

You’ll also find a light strip under the displays that splits the upper and lower sections of interior, with a fourth display located in the latter for the climate system. The centre console appears to be unique to the Wagoneer S, as are the gear and Selec-Terrain controls. Jeep says the Wagoneer S will come as standard with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof as well as a 19-speaker premium sound system from McIntosh.

2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Engine

Jeep hasn’t revealed a lot of information related to the powertrain of the Wagoneer S. But the capabilities of its platform drop a few hints. The STLA Large can support front-wheel-drive, rear-wheel-drive, and all-wheel-drive propulsion systems. Though Jeep hasn’t confirmed it yet, we expect the Wagoneer S to feature a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup.

In the case of BEVs, the propulsion systems of the STLA Large can deliver an acceleration of 0 to 62 mph in the two-second range. Though the Wagoneer S will have a maximum power output of 600 horsepower, its bulky crossover shape limits its 60 mph time to 3.5 seconds.

2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Price & Trims

Of course, since it features Stellantis’ latest EV bling, don’t expect to see cheap Wagoneer S models arriving at the nationwide dealership network – estimates from independent sources believe that Jeep won’t go below $80k for the base version. Interestingly, the brand has almost revealed everything there is to know about the EV, including most of its exterior and interior design. However, they didn’t give us too many options – just a teaser of a dark unit, while a separate leak has also shown a dual-tone gray and black version.
